Faith in action, done with Love, to give Hope to others
OUR
MISSION
EMPOWER FAMILIES AND COMMUNITIES BY SHARING GOD’S LOVE AND GIVING THEM HOPE FOR A BRIGHTER FUTURE
WHO WE ARE
Here at Future For our Friends, we know that sometimes all it takes to change the world is a little support. Since our founding in 2020, we have been determined to make an impact in one community at a time. These communities are often forgotten by most help organizations due to their location and accessibility. The core of our efforts is to bring our team’s fresh ideas and passion to the range of activities we’re involved in. Through all of our endeavors we hope to display the conviction behind our beliefs.
OUR PROJECTS
BUILDING CLASSROOM
We are helping St Paul school to build durable classroom to replace the one made with sticks and mud. We managed to build one classroom with our funding and the help of other contributors who paid for the roofs. This is the only school within a 17 km radius and it serves 250 children. One classroom is not enough and they still don't have a proper source of water and lavatory facilities.
FUNDRAISING FOR SCHOOL SUPPLIES AND TEACHER SALARIES
We believe that the best way to provide a sustainable future for these children is to provide with the best quality education that will help them thrive mentally, physically and spiritually. Therefore, we are helping Father Norson and the three teachers who are working tirelessly to teach and nurture these children. Then cannot do it alone so we are very grateful to all those who came to help us with this project.
SUPPLY OF WATER AND AGRICULTURE PROJECT
The main problem and obstacle for any progress and development in the Behisatsy village is the lack of water supply. The village of 320 households with 3 to 13 family members per household is left with one functioning traditional water well to provide water for all needs. The village is suffering from extended dry season that water becomes very scarce. There is no body of water in the area and it only rains in January and February.
